Lynn Moran MBA, ACC is an owner of the Arizona Coaching & Consulting Center LLC.; With over 30 years of business experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a history of success to her coaching clients. Lynn spent her business career working primarily in the consumer products industry with some time spent in the gift industry; In 1999, she was promoted to President of Ethel M Chocolates, a Mars, Inc. boutique retail and wholesale gourmet confectionary company. As President of Ethel M®, Lynn repositioned the organization and brand, redesigned the retail environment and reinvigorated the product line. While President of Ethel M®, Lynn launched a literacy program titled “Feed Your Mind” and in 2002 she was named one of the Most Influential Businesswomen in Southern Nevada. In addition to Mars, Inc. Lynn was the Executive Vice President of Sales for Russ Berrie.Lynn opened Sonoran Life Transition and Performance Coaching in 2008. She became interested in working with AD/HD clients after retiring from the corporate world. Lynn understands the challenges and opportunities that AD/HD presents based on personal experience. She is a certified coach and is a member of CHADD and a teacher for the Parent-to-Parent Family Training Program. In addition to her AD/HD coaching, she is also a Leadership and Business coach. Lynn has a BS degree in Business Administration and a MBA degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a Board Member of the Institute for the Advancement of AD/HD Coaching and is also a member of CHADD, ADDA, ACO and the International Coach Federation.
Harold "Hal" Meyer is the founder and executive director of New York City's The A.D.D. Resource Center (1993), cofounder of CHADD of New York City (1989) and a former National board member of CHADD - Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. He has been coaching adults, couples and parents of children with AD/HD since 1993. Hal was a member of the Attention Deficit Disorders Association’s (ADDA) subcommittee on AD/HD Coaching, and also New York City's Mental Health Coalition. He helped launch the first well-known international ADD computer forum, and was instrumental in establishing chadd.org. He has been a consultant to both the U.S. and New York City Departments of Education and was the elected chair of NYC's Community School Board #3. He has served on numerous government and private sector policy-making committees, including the current New York State Managed Care AD/HD Performance Improvement Collaborative (JENY). Hal has presented seminars and workshops on AD/HD to parent and adult groups, educators, service providers, therapists, doctors, corporate employers, government agencies and not for profit organizations. He also has extensive experience in the business sector.
Joan Palmer, Ed.M., is an AD/HD and Life Coach. Prior to becoming a coach, Joan spent the first 15 years of her career with an international non-profit foundation, working with students, both as a drug abuse prevention consultant to schools and communities, and as a counselor to adolescents and their families. It was then that she discovered her affinity for the subject. During the next 15 years of her career, her work evolved as transitional counselor/coach whose adult clients increasingly wanted to integrate their newly discovered AD/HD identity into a positive framework. She is a member of CHADD, ADDA and ACA. Between being a mother of two AD/HD college aged boys, a wife of an AD/HD entrepreneur, and her own late diagnosis of AD/HD, Joan is constantly discovering innovative ways to enhance her personal and professional world living with AD/HD.
Linda Taylor is the founder of the CT AD/HD Treatment Center in Monroe, CT where she provides AD/HD management support for individuals, families and educators. As a senior level marketing executive and consultant for the food industry, she incorporated coaching into her management style for more than 20 years. The influence of AD/HD in both her family and in the work place inspired Linda's coaching to become more specialized, and since 1994, Linda has focused her efforts in the area of AD/HD. A graduate of the University of MN, Linda has completed training at The Center for Creative Leadership, the Coaches Training Institute, MentorCoach, American Management Association, Ennis Associates and other development organizations. Linda provides academic tutoring as well as executive function coaching support on-site for middle school students, and presents seminars and workshops on AD/HD to parent, adult and educator groups.
Christina Fabrey is the Director of Academic Support Services at Green Mountain College (GMC), an environmental liberal arts college in western Vermont , where she previously served as the school's disability support provider. She is also an AD/HD coach and an Edge Foundation Coach, having received training through Fast Track Coaching, the Edge Foundation, and MentorCoach. She currently incorporates coaching into her work with students with disabilities at Green Mountain College , as well as with students who are on academic probation or conditionally admitted to GMC. Christina holds a Masters of Education and licensure in 7-12 Science, K-12 Special Needs. Christina lives in rural Vermont with her partner, new son, and spunky dog.
Homer Mullins is a graduate of Emory University College and Law School. He practiced law in Atlanta for some 30 years until his retirement in 2002. He completed his ADHD coach training at the American Coaching Association. Affected by ADHD, as well as adult onset hearing loss, Homer has expanded his practice to coach and consult with others who are simultaneously affected by auditory and other cognitive challenges. He has published numerous articles in journals of the ABA dealing with the professional implications of undiagnosed hearing loss. Homer serves on the Georgia Bar and ABA Committees concerned with Lawyer Impairment. He is also an active member of CHADD, the Hearing Loss Association of America and will complete his work in June 2007 for a certificate in Peer Mentoring for Hearing Loss at Gallaudet University, Washington.
